I am God’s daughter—His beloved and redeemed child—blessed beyond measure as a wife, mother, and grandmother. I am a Christ-following, convicted, and forgiven sinner, forever grateful for His mercy and grace. My journey through life has taken me to many places, yet by His divine plan, I have been led back to Gilmer, TX. God, in His infinite wisdom and love, has given me the most incredible partner in my husband—the man I both needed and wanted, a true gift from the Lord. He has blessed me with extraordinary children, who are now raising families of their own, allowing me the immense joy of being a grandmother. Each moment spent with them is a reminder of God’s faithfulness through the generations. Now, in this season of my life, God has given me yet another profound blessing—the privilege of teaching. Each morning, as I step into Lighthouse Christian Academy, I am reminded of the sacred trust He has placed in me, not only to guide my own children through life but also to nurture and instruct the precious little ones in my classroom. What an incredible calling—to plant seeds of knowledge, faith, and love in their young hearts! I do not take this responsibility lightly. It is a privilege, an honor, and a divine appointment. Every child I teach is fearfully and wonderfully made, a masterpiece of God’s handiwork, and I am humbled to play a role in their growth. With each new day, I rejoice in the opportunity to serve—to pour into the next generation, to reflect Christ’s love, and to walk in the purpose He has laid before me. Truly, I am the most blessed person I know.
